Michelle preparing at the Ophel

Good afternoon!  We have enjoyed another great day of filming.  Today we filmed our program, Jesus in Jerusalem: A Zeal for His Father's House. Chelle did a great job!  We filmed the program at the Ophel Archaeological Garden along the southern end of the Temple Mount area.  Archaeologists have unearthed remains from the Temple of Herod. It was in this temple that Jesus and the early disciples worshiped.  There is so much to see here!  After we completed the program, we collected lots of great footage.

Tomorrow morning we will head out to the Herodian.  This is a fortress built by Herod the Great.  We will be shooting our thirteenth and final program in the Journeys of Jesus Series.  Chelle will be presenting a program on the birth of Jesus.  It was from this fortress that Herod may have sent his soldiers to kill all the babies under the age of two.

We want to thank you for checking in with us today.  We hope you are enjoying the updates and pictures.
