Daniel filming sunset at Susita

Good afternoon!  We arrived in Jerusalem today at about 3 pm.  Our day began in the Galilee, where we finished collecting some good footage.  We were able to film an ancient boat that was discovered in the Sea of Galilee several decades ago.  The boat actually dates to the time of Jesus.  Jesus and His disciples were sure to have sailed the Lake in a boat similar to this one.

While we were filming the boat, the marketing manger there told us about a great overlook that allows one to see the Jordan River as it flows into the Sea of Galilee.  The only location that such an overview is possible is in a secured Moshav.  She lives on this Moshav and got us access to get in so we could film there.  It was indeed a great overview!

After this, we made our way to Jerusalem.  The trip took us about two hours.  Once we arrived, we changed for church and made our way to the congregation.  Michelle was able to sing with the worship team tonight, so that was a special blessing.  It was good to see so many friends and worship at our Jerusalem congregation.

Tomorrow afternoon we will travel to the Ophel Archaeological Garden, which is located at the southern end of the Temple Mount.  Michelle will be doing a program entitled, Jesus in Jerusalem: A Zeal for His Father's House.

We hope you have great day!  Thanks for taking time to check-in.  We hope you join us again tomorrow as our Israel Filming Project continues.  Until then . . . Shalom from Jerusalem.
