Dan shooting at Bet Shean 

Hi there!  We departed our guest house this morning before sunrise and arrived to Cfar Cana around 6:45am (Cfar means "village"). The site was quiet when we scouted last Friday, but being that our overlook is in a developing neighborhood, we encountered some construction noise! We were able to film about half the program from there with no problems, but when the noise began to interfere we left and went to our alternate location. Thankfully, we had found this spot last Thursday and decided that if anything should happen to our primary spot, we'd move there. It worked to our advantage because this way we were able to show the area of the 2 primary candidates for the site of Jesus' First Sign, Cfar Cana and Khirbet Cana.

We just returned a little while ago and grabbed a quick lunch of a pita w/ olive oil before beginning preparations for this afternoon's filming. We'll be heading to Capernaum to film "Capernaum: The Village of Miracles" and after that drive to our next site and finish up "Sinful Men Wanted: The Calling of the Disciples." Right now, Dan is looking over his notes and I (Michelle) am in the midst of typing our Time Code Notes. It is vital that we record the start & end times of each segment so that the editor will know how to cut the programs. The way we've paired up is that Dan films the bulk of our material, and I take the notes.
